Vancouver launches world’s first municipal cigarette butt recycling program

Excited about this blog post I found about Vancouver recycling cigarette butts. I get so disturbed when I see smokers toss their toxic butts all over. In addition to the smoke I try to dodge to avoid asthma issues, the butts are poison to the earth (and ugly). Some smokers just litter them without a second thought. I get that it’s the way it has always been and alternatives are few so hope this helps.
