My Tourist in BC adventure #2 – Richmond…
So when my friend Kristina suggested we check out Richmond I thought – really Richmond,isn’t that where you just pass through on the way to the airport? I was wrong… here are a few of the must sees in Richmond BC:
First on the list was Steveston – I had been many times before for dinner in Steveston, the restaurants are great, but this time we took a walk along the water. It was a gorgeous night and there are so many great photo ops. We took the walk all the way to the end where there were a bunch of heritage buildings and a little park where they have live music.
Richmond Night Market – It felt like another country…crowded, full of little nick knack stands and lots of unusually yummy food. Potato spirals, fish shaped waffles with chocolate, fresh popcorn, huge chocolate covered strawberries…
The Temples – This we didn’t do but I’ve heard it’s a must see. There are a number of different temples from a variety of religions all in the same area in Richmond. On my list is the Buddhist Temple 🙂
