Pura Vida
So the original inspiration for this blog name/URL…Beer. Yes, I started this blog shortly after a trip to Costa Rica where I fell in love with the local beer Imperial. Upon returning home to Canada I had to make do without – hence the Imperial Dreams. So no, the name of this blog doesn’t stem from my delusions of royal grandeur. The roots of this blog are watered with beer.
So I was a little excited when I saw that Imperial is going to be imported into North America… but disappointed once again to find out it’s not coming to Canada. Seriously, who did their market potential research? How could you miss Canada when looking at exporting beer?

Update – So blog name started as Imperial Dreams, inspired by my first trip to Costa Rica where I was introduced to Imperial beer and Pura Vida living. Recently changed it to Sandtoesha, inspired by my second trip to Costa Rica where I expereinced another big life shift exploring yoga for a month in the jungle.
