things not to do on a job interview…
Ok… so some of these I’ve done… some I’ve experienced while interviewing others:
- Arrive 1/2 an hour late.
- Leave your cell phone on. Don’t just turn off the ringer because the silent ring can set off the hands-free meeting equipment in the room.
- Faint.
- Go on and on about how much you can’t stand your present job and then mention that you gave your notice today.
- Ask if you can phone a friend or use a 50/50 – even if it’s a really tough question.
- Steal office supplies.
- Wear bar clothes (unless you are interviewing to work in a bar).
Just a few tips for now… I might add more later.

hmmm… working in education, I find the above pretty funny. Do people really call this number? Explain that one in the job interview… So how long did you take to finish you MA??? 2 weeks of intensive study?
