Sometimes I feel like there is a UFC match up between these two in my head. The challenge is in telling the difference between intuitive perceptions and the sometimes louder voice of fear. So fear and intuition are two different things right. Fear tells you what you don’t want to know. Intuition tells you the truth. Intuition is real and always authentic. But sometimes fear is real, sometimes it can be a fantasy or an illusion. So short of a UFC match up battle, how do you know which one wins out as being at the root of what you are feeling in the present moment? I guess being hyper aware of why you feel something, knowing yourself and your fear triggers is a start.
When fear starts to take over, I like to use this quote from the novel “Dune” by Frank Herbert…
LITANY AGAINST FEAR
“I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.”

Thanks, that’s good and so true… getting past fear clears space for intuition or the ‘inner eye’.
