The last tan for Tam.I love the sun. In the last year and a half I’ve been tanning on the beaches of Goa in India, Samana in the Dominican, Cuba, and Mexico (images below). But flash forward to our first warm weekend of the year, and I spent it hiding from the sun while I was healing from cryosurgery to remove a little pre-cancerous spot on my nose. It’s all good, caught it early, but the risk is real. Heed Baz Luhrmann’s warning people and wear sunscreen. I also bought a new big floppy hat, just to be safe.
Have you looked closely at the ingredients in your sun screens, tanning oils, make-up or whatnot?
Personally, I’m much more weary of all those chemicals since our Sun has been here before the advent of time itself. We are inextricably linked to Father Sun just as we are to Mother Earth. Food for though.

I agree! I’ve been trying to find something natural that works. Ideally I wouldn’t need it at all but Canadian winters leave me pretty pale and burnable by summer, even with a few winter escapes to the tropics.
